Prezi is zooming presentation tool and it is much more interesting and funny then all other presentation tools I know. I got tired of creating boring slideshows and Prezi helps me to express my ideas in a different way; that is why it has convinced me to use it. Prezi is beyond slides; it helps audience to understand and remember much better. Prezi is just one big canvas where you place your text in allowing clear presentations where you can provide great overview of ideas and you can focus on details and particular topics or show the relations between objects.
Prezi is easy to use; on their official web site there are many short tutorials. I learned its basics and most important functions in only ten minutes.
Prezi is not open access tool but you can get a free public license, which has 100MB storage space or free student/teacher license but these licenses does not include options for making content private and does not include use of Prezi Desktop, which enables offline work with Prezi. Great option is Portable Prezi, which is exported version of Prezi presentation and works without internet access. So it is easy to download presentation on your computer or share it online.

Hey! You inspired me to use this tool:) It was the first time when I used something different than usual and boring PowerPoint. It is great that there is no need to prepare all of these slides and u can put everything in one place without any mess cause of the path available. I also like this tool by which u can draw attention to the most important aspects :) Im sure Im gonna use it in the future:)

I can see the biggest advantage in the fact that presentation is stored online and you don't need to use USBs to transfer it. And I am always saving my Power point presentation in 2 different versions (old and new), because I never know which version will be supported at the school computer.
OdgovoriIzbrišiMaja I have to say that during one online course of New media and Society you mentioned that we have to use Prezi, simply because it is great - and it is because of you that I went online to find something more about it. The tool is great and I have to say, that I will certainly used it for my next presentation - the Power Point slides are two dimensional, boring and do not give me the opportunity to be creative. The new way of presenting my ideas is convenient - is simply and time consuming. You don't have to scroll between dozens of slides to find the right one, you have it all right in front of you. As you said: "Prezi is just one big canvas where you place your text in allowing clear presentations where you can provide great overview of ideas and you can focus on details and particular topics or show the relations between objects". Great and I'm kind of sad, because no one told me about Prezi before.
